ICM Appeals Process

Fair, transparent, and impartial review of certification decisions to ensure every applicant’s voice is heard.

Purpose

To ensure that any applicant, candidate, or certified person can appeal a certification decision they believe is incorrect, handled fairly and impartially.

Who Can Appeal
Any individual or organization that has received a certification decision from ICM may submit an appeal.
Grounds for Appeal

You may appeal if you believe:

  • The decision was based on incorrect or incomplete information.

  • The process was not followed according to ICM’s procedures.

How to Appeal
  • Submit your appeal in writing within 30 calendar days of receiving the decision.

  • Include your name, contact details, certification scheme and number, the decision you are appealing, and your reasons.

  • Send your appeal to:

    • Email: appeals@icm.com

    • Post: ICM International Management Sdn. Bhd., [Full Address]

What Happens Next
  • You will receive written acknowledgement of your appeal within 5 working days.

  • Your appeal will be reviewed by an independent panel not involved in the original decision.

  • You will be informed of the outcome within 30 calendar days.

Impartiality

No discriminatory action will be taken against anyone for lodging an appeal.
ICM guarantees impartiality and confidentiality in all appeal reviews.
