To ensure that any applicant, candidate, or certified person can appeal a certification decision they believe is incorrect, handled fairly and impartially.
You may appeal if you believe:
The decision was based on incorrect or incomplete information.
The process was not followed according to ICM’s procedures.
Submit your appeal in writing within 30 calendar days of receiving the decision.
Include your name, contact details, certification scheme and number, the decision you are appealing, and your reasons.

You will receive written acknowledgement of your appeal within 5 working days.
Your appeal will be reviewed by an independent panel not involved in the original decision.
You will be informed of the outcome within 30 calendar days.
No discriminatory action will be taken against anyone for lodging an appeal.
ICM guarantees impartiality and confidentiality in all appeal reviews.
